Fortis Riders Unveils “Global Driver” Reservation Software

January 12th, 2009

New Technology Tests Two Times Faster Versus Competitors

Greenville, South Carolina – Fortis Riders, the leader in chauffeured transportation services for private jet owners and passengers, will unveil its new Global Driver reservation software during the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference to be held in Long Beach, California, January 13 – 19.

Global Driver reflects a next generation of proprietary online booking technology that enables Fortis Riders clients to quickly schedule and monitor luxury ground transportation throughout the world.

“Our Global Driver platform enables you to book faster and know more about your trip” said Nathan Foy, founder and president of Fortis Riders.  Features of Global Driver include:

• 2-3 times faster than other major limousine booking systems.
• Uses word tagging to auto-suggest most applicable items (example, if you’re flying into Dallas-Love Field and going to the Ritz Carlton, it will suggest the Ritz and the correct address by the third letter.
• Choose your chauffeur in advance.  Browse digital pictures and reviews from other passengers.
• Add trips to your calendar via your confirmation.
• View a Google map showing the route.
• See travel time and distance of each trip.
• Book duplicate trips, return trips, and road shows with the push of a button.

Foy says Global Driver consistently delivers reservation booking capability two times faster than his competitors – a fact he plans to prove during NBAA when “test drive” demonstrations will be available at the Fortis Riders booth (#1023).

“We’re going to put our money where our mouth is by challenging NBAA visitors to come to our booth, try us out and win prizes,” Foy says. “Once you see it for yourself, you’ll be a Global Driver fan for life.”

Fortis Riders Partners with CEO Challenges

November 19th, 2008

Global Chauffeured Network becomes exclusive transportation sponsor of executive competitions

Greenville, South Carolina – Fortis Riders, the industry’s top innovator in chauffeured transportation services for private jet owners and passengers, has announced its partnership with CEO Challenges, the world leader in sport competitions designed specifically for CEOs.  CEO Challenges events include triathlons, marathons, skiing, cycling, and driving challenges.

“Fortis Riders is focused on serving executives who are highly competitive with a ‘challenges welcomed attitude,” said Nathan Foy, President of Fortis Riders. “Many of our clients are extreme athletes. So partnering with CEO Challenges reinforces our association with the world’s top business leaders while helping them enjoy their favorite competitions.”

Fortis Riders will provide chauffeured vehicles for all the CEO Challenges competitions – including events in Thailand and Canada.  Fortis Riders will also serve as the official co-sponsor of the CEO Driving Challenge held in May 2009 at the BMW Driving School in Greenville, SC as well as the CEO Skiing Challenge held in March in Vail, CO.

The best part of it, Foy says, is the camaraderie between CEO Challenges participants. “There’s nothing like watching people getting together in their pursuit of a common passion, fiercely competing one minute then walking away as new friends the next.”

Ted Kennedy, owner and founder of CEO Challenges, stated, “We are thrilled to have Fortis Riders as our exclusive transportation sponsor.  There are tons of limo companies out there, but Fortis Riders is the best at understanding the needs of top executives.  In fact, some of our CEO Challenges athletes were already Fortis clients.  This partnership is a natural fit.”

Fortis Riders Completes Relocation of Headquarters

September 9th, 2008

Growing Jet Passenger Limo Company Chooses Greenville, South Carolina, For Quality Of Life

Greenville, South Carolina – Fortis Riders, one of the leaders in chauffeured transportation services for private jet owners and passengers, has completed relocation of its corporate headquarters from Atlanta to Greenville, South Carolina. The move responds to the company’s goals for continued expansion of services and capabilities combined with improved quality of life for employees.

“Based on four successive years of growth and very clear ideas about continued expansion, we knew that the time was right to make a move,” said Nathan Foy, founder and president of Fortis Riders. “We knew that relocation to an easier, employee-friendlier community would be critical to meeting our goals for the next few years and beyond, “he said. “The Fortis Riders brand is all about pampering our clients with enthusiasm, and our feeling is that the improved quality of life offered by the Greenville area enables a happier workforce that in turn enables happier Fortis passengers throughout the world.”

Foy pointed out that nearly all of his company’s employees chose to make the move to Greenville. “The majority of our team members are also stock holders and each has a very personal stake in the company’s day-to-day, minute-by-minute, customer-by-customer effectiveness,” Said Foy. “As a result, everyone agreed that making the jump to more relaxed surroundings would be a good move for the organization and well worth the obstacles.”

Foy says that the move has been “practically seamless” despite the challenges of having to find, renovate and then move into the company’s 4,000 square foot offices while also leaving behind residences in Atlanta for new ones in the Upstate. “We’ve all worked together to make the transition as smooth as can be for the business and for each other. There may have been total chaos behind-the-scenes at times,” he said, “but, amazingly, we didn’t miss a beat responding to the needs of our passengers.”

According to Foy, the downtown Greenville location will enable his company to expand with comfort and confidence while offering an attractive setting for recruitment of new hires. “We like the vibrant, youthful atmosphere of Main street’s tree-lined shops and restaurants,” Foy commented. “It’s a perfect fit with our enthusiastic, ‘challenges welcomed’ brand.”
